This device is not HDCP compliant

Although this device emulates a monitor so that the desktop does not change when the monitor is switched between computers, it does not support protection for high-bandwidth digital content. This means that you cannot watch TV programs on the connected monitor. I guess I'll just send it to a box of other useless computer gear. Damn.

Works the way I wanted it to

Does what it's supposed to. I'm on Win 10. After resetting my monitor resolution (Emus EDID read to 1920x1080, the monitor I'm switching is 1920x1200) my old DVI switch worked fine on both systems. Each system sees a 1920x1200 monitor (and therefore retains its position, resolution, application window, and icons) no matter what position the switch is in. too far. These guys are hard to pull off and you want them to be tough otherwise things can get weird. So in my book it's generally fine. Many

This is a godsend for computer components

I absolutely HATE how my windows move when I unplug my monitors. I bought EDID emulators, so now Windows doesn't know when they'll run out. I was nervous because it was cheap compared to the prices I see on google, but it works great. No more craziness when I turn off the monitors. It's worth it!
