Increasing frames on my old laptop

I have an old HP Beats laptop that is not designed for gaming. HP dedicated 1GB of the installed 8GB of RAM to video memory, and as you can imagine my already low frame rate drops to unacceptable levels when background processes are running. I inserted this RAM stick into the open slot, unlocking the dual-channel memory. Functionality that is really important on AMD-based systems like mine. This resulted in a 10+ increase in frame rate on light games my system can run like Skyrim and Dragon'sโ€ฆ

Maybe not the cheapest and fully electronic

Apologies for the 3 stars in the gaming category on this subject for a friend for a very old laptop that he revived and gave it a much needed boost and play but that was it it not. not as great as i thought but i put it down to the age of the laptop anyway i will always be using my revain electronics oh and i mean period! I have to say they have the best prices 80% of the time, but overall it's worth it, even if it's more expensive, it's worth it for the service, the guarantee, and the generalโ€ฆ

CPR for my laptop best in Computers & Accessories

A few months ago I noticed that my dual boot laptop was running much slower than I remembered. Sure Windows slows down over time, but does Linux too? This is an old Dino Dell Latitude e6430 with 4 gigabytes of RAM. I saw this 8GB memory at a price I liked so I checked 3 times if it would work fine with the memory installed if not at least I can run 8GB. Memory. All 12 gigs work fine and returned overall download speed. A laptop will always be slower compared to a new one with better hardwareโ€ฆ

It is DDR3L. Can't it run on 1.5V?

"1.35V" seems to be synonymous with "DDR3L" or "PC3L" but I was struggling a bit prior to this purchase as the computer I was upgrading only used " DDR3L" RAM used. You should just refer to it as DDR3L to save me the confusion - unless that RAM actually CANNOT run on 1.5V, which would be nice to know. "DDR3L" means backwards compatibility with 1.5V systems. Anyway, I used it to update my dad's 2014 Dell Inspiron 17 after installing Win 10 on it. Previously, it used 4GB of RAM. CPU-Z gives meโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Work great! suitable for computer components

. Easily installed. There are no performance or reliability issues. Added 8GB to the existing 4GB via the second memory slot. Luckily, Dell used one 4GB SODIMM instead of two 2GB, leaving that vacant slot, so the laptop now has 12GB installed. I chose the Patriot because of its reputation and was not disappointed. Most computers have very little memory installed. Do yourself a favor: add more storage. It almost doesn't matter what kind of computer or how much memory is installed, as long as you

With these memory modules, it was easy to upgrade two Toshiba P75-A7200 laptops to 32GB with 8MB for better performance. To do this on a 32GB Toshiba requires 4 modules and a complete disassembly of the laptop. I was also able to use 2 of these 8GB models to update DELL Vostro laptops with the latest BIOS. Successfully updated laptops: 1) Two Vostro 3750 (2nd Gen I7-2680QM with Intel HM67 chipsets). The CPU has been replaced by the original Intel I3 (second generation). The chipset does notโ€ฆ

Works great in the Lenovo E540.

I had 4GB of RAM in my Thinkpad and Lenovo E540 laptop, so 16GB should be a big improvement right? I understand that 16GB is the max for the E540, so I got 2 Patriot SODIMMs. Easy to install. Remove the battery and the 3 fixed screws on the back panel and remove the cover to access the SODIMM slots. The E540 has 2 SODIMM slots that actually overlap and are at a slight angle to the motherboard. I only had 1 4GB SODIMM installed. Push the rail/lever and the old SODIMM will pop out. Insert the new
