    I recommend, great CD Different pros: it doesn’t get very hot, when recording (85gb) it didn’t heat up above 33 degrees (possibly due to successful airflow in the case). read speed 3472, write 2570 in the test.     I tested the Samsung MZ-V7S250BW, which costs 970 and has 256 GB of storage, and the inexpensive Patriot Memory VPN100-256GM28H, which costs 3500 and has a three-year warranty.     Got on not compatible with MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max motherboard. On it, the disk falls off under load until the computer is rebooted. I had to plug it into another computer. There were also problems when transferring the system to it. From the fifth program, we only managed to transfer the system, now it seems to be working normally, only Windows takes a suspiciously long time to load.

    A terrible purchase, I sympathize with everyone who bought it.

    Plugged it into the motherboard and everything worked fine. I downloaded the proprietary utility Patriot PCIe ToolBox v1.6, ated the firmware. The operation completed successfully, the utility asked to turn off the computer. Turned off, turned on, no more SSD. Not defined in BIOS or Windows. I moved it to another M.2 connector, the same thing. SSD dead.

    The drive is fast, read speed: 3378 Mb/s and write: 2078 Mb/s. The temperature at idle is 29-30 Celsius, at load 55. A very beautiful box, there is even a door with a magnet.

    The heatsink is too big for this drive to fit in a laptop. The heatsink washer was about 1/2 inch thick. As far as I know the cooler cannot be removed. I didn't want to try it for fear of damaging the disc. If you use this for desktop I'm sure it will work great.

    Incredible performance

    I bought this drive because I've had success with Patriot products and this one is no exception. Build quality is excellent, the heatsink is a nice weight and keeps the disc well balanced. The drive installed easily and was instantly recognized by Windows, performance is lightning fast. This drive is reasonably priced and good value for money. I'm very happy with this drive and I think you are too.

    Interesting M.2 drive experience

    This M.2 drive is relatively inexpensive and delivers remarkable speed. Crystal Disk Mark 6 tests showed read speeds hit a consistent 34XX MB/s, putting the drive on par with drives costing twice as much. The writing speed frustrated me a bit. The spec says write speeds can reach up to 3000MB/s, but all I've seen is 629MB/s, which is terribly slow. I cloned my original drive using Acronis True Image, a technique I've used dozens of times, so I could just remove the original drive and attach the

    They should have called this Sonic and not Viper because this M.2 SSD is incredibly fast. Loads The Witcher 3 and other AAA games in less than 10 seconds. Bought a second one for a different OS build; Windows 10 installs in less than 5 minutes and boot time is literally less than 1 minute. My biggest complaint is the heatsink which was an advantage for me when I added it to my system, in some scenarios this heatsink could have gap issues.

    This drive has excellent speed even for a 256GB model. The only downside is that it's a bit more expensive than some of the others.     Couldn't get it to work with my 970 AM3/FX Mobo

    I could not install or format the M2. I think my AM3/FX MSi 970A mobo is the real problem, it will probably work on AM4. At boot, Windows 7 tried to install M2 but failed. Device Manager named it a PCI device (instead of hard drives) with a yellow problem icon. I've tried to get a driver update from WUpdate and Mobo Chipset Disc with no success.
