Works in shoes so far

I wear size 43 MTB Sidi shoes and have had no problem slipping this size Lg over my shoes. The material stretches a bit but the toes don't pinch. The Mt Sidi shoes are well ventilated for hot weather rides, which could mean I'll be cold if the temp drops below 55 during my 2 hour ride. They keep the wind out well and I felt comfortable even in thin socks. I haven't been out in the rain yet, but a little water hose test went well. I have Pearl gloves made from the same material, they are thinโ€ฆ

NOT so waterproof, suitable for shoes

Oh crap. I got them for a tough, rainy 1 hour ride but my feet still got wet. Oddly enough the water didn't flow off the cuff/top but through the top of the toes and the top of the foot. I suspect that the seam at the top and the seam at the sides are leaking. I'm disappointed. I could get cheap neoprene cases for this level of protection. I expected more for the price. And what's wrong with the size? Do they even have real sizes or just put tags on one size fits all? I wear 41 shoes ($7.5) and

Nice but they are SMALL.

They keep your feet dry. They would be 5 star overshoes if the size had any rational relation to Pearl Izumi's shoe size, but they don't. They are small - very small. I went up two sizes and these are still difficult to put on. I would take a size up but XXL is as big as it gets. (They fit perfectly on a size 12 pair of Pearl Izumi Mountain Bike Shoes.) The fabric doesn't stretch or stretch, so plan on going up a size! Once you've found the right ones, they're really good covers - almost likeโ€ฆ

Hard to find shoe size

I bought a large size for my Tahoe Specialized Women's 41 mountain bike style cycling shoe after reading reviews of how they fit the small size (size chart says I should be average - maybe if they were street shoes). My shoes are bulky, designed for comfort when I need to walk in them, and probably have more surface area than thinner constructions or larger road shoes. Rather than focusing on shoe fit based on foot size, I would suggest using shoe circumference as a better guide. Theโ€ฆ

High quality; run *very* small

These boots are very good quality and I love the bright yellow color but people aren't kidding when they say they have to order. I wear size 7 women's road shoes and my mountain bike shoes are Shimano size 38. These shoes are mountain style, not boxy, with no rubber toe guards or thick soles. The size chart says to order small; I ordered a large one based on the warnings in the reviews. It took a lot of tugging to put the big boots on and the velcro barely touched the heel. I exchanged them for
