My kid calls this his "Luxury Seat" which is kudos from a kid who wants to drive without a booster seat. It fits well in my narrow car seat (15 inches between buckles). The lack of armrests makes it look more like a baby seat and makes it easier to buckle up. Now if you can calculate the time it takes your child to buckle up in the clock, the speed of buckling up with this seat is really impressive. I'm so pleasantly surprised! Been looking for child seats for my little 5 year old for weeks. As a fourth child, you might think that's not a problem, but a different child, different needs, different phase of life. He's a small kid so I didn't want anything too big and unsupportive and I didn't want armrests because I needed him to start buckle up for school pickups/drops off this fall. I like this booster seat. It is durable and of good quality. Height and width are highly adjustable to fit really big kids. My kids are 4ft 4" and 4ft 5" and have more room to grow. My daughter outgrew her Chicco Kidfit and my son was about to outgrow it, although he was well under the maximum height and weight limits and still needed boosters to grow 4-5 inches. I was hesitant to spend that much on a booster booster pack but we have 2 driving factors: 1- it should be enough for 4 children so quality, safety and a safe long shelf life are all important to us.
