I'm so pleasantly surprised! Been looking for child seats for my little 5 year old for weeks. As a fourth child, you might think that's not a problem, but a different child, different needs, different phase of life. He's a small kid so I didn't want anything too big and unsupportive and I didn't want armrests because I needed him to start buckle up for school pickups/drops off this fall. There are hardly any test options without a hand, which is why we decided on this and Maxi Cosi. I'm so glad I chose this, even for $100 more I couldn't be happier. Firstly, the rigid closure is simply brilliant. Such a time saver and so smart. It's really light but feels very strong and super secure. The seat is sooo soft and soft! Likewise the front fenders, which do not protrude too much. I didn't like that the Maxi was air filled which was another reason I chose the Peg. Love the multiple adjustments as it grows and the reclining feature is AMAZING! Also works when closed! He just turned 5 but he still sleeps and sleeps in the car so that's really cool. The cup holders, which can be retracted almost invisibly, are also ingenious. The liquorice color we received matches my leather accented interior perfectly. So luxurious! Overall I can't find any complaints. It is absolutely convenient and safe. I'm not a fan of moving it from 5 points, but with school and such it's almost necessary. I feel like he's really safe in that chair!
