Weak warp threads on one of my duvets

I've been using this duvet since December and enjoy the warmth. However, I get holes. At first I thought maybe it's my cats. but I noticed that the cotton warp threads are the cause. Pull the quilt and tear the cotton warp threads and I have a hole. I bought a twin size that sits on my couch and has no holes. So far I've fixed three holes in the double bed and none in the twin room banging on the couch. I must have received a blanket with weak warp threads. I hope the holes stop appearing.

Are you ready for another bad winter?

Wool blankets from Pendleton are hard to beat, I bought two camping blankets for our vehicles to use in emergencies. I bought a larger size so we would have enough room to wrap the blanket completely around us. Living in the great Northwest, you never know what winter weather we're going to face and it pays to be prepared to get stuck in inclement weather. Food, water, and warmth are essential in our vehicles, and when I have to get stuck, I want to get stuck as comfortably as possible! Each of

Amazing quality, worth every penny

This is the second Yakima Camp blanket I've bought and I'm very happy with it. If you are looking for a quality rug and are unsure whether to spend your money on Pendleton then go for it! These blankets are softer and thicker than other less expensive wool blankets. Not itchy at all, I was so impressed with how soft the other camp blanket was that I actually bought it as a personal blanket for lounging and napping. The quality is fantastic, the colors are beautiful and I can easily see thatโ€ฆ

Great but not green.

Don't get me wrong. This is a fantastic blanket in terms of weight, size and feel for a wool blanket, but for a "Heather Green" blanket it is very gray with some blue in it. Everything was amazing until I noticed the color. I took it outside and ran it under different lights, checked on Amazon to make sure I had ordered the wrong color and thought I had received a used and washed return, but I don't think that's the case. I almost want to return this for a different color but I don't know ifโ€ฆ

The perfect blanket!

If you are in doubt about buying this blanket, I would advise you to pull the trigger. I was concerned that this duvet would be too heavy to carry over a duvet in winter. It is not. It's perfect. I was concerned that this comforter would be too warm to use with a sheet in the summer. It is not. It's perfect. The duvet is the perfect combination of lightness and warmth. Even if I get warm at night, I never get too hot. The air seems to circulate well. I was also concerned that the blanket wouldโ€ฆ

The warmest blanket in the Pendleton range

The WARMEST blanket in the Pendleton range - in response to my question, Pendleton kindly provided the following information: They contain 100% cotton warp yarns (vertical, structuring fibers on the loom) for stability, but the presence of cotton in the duvet, between the wool yarns, actually creates heat-retaining pockets that help keep the duvet warmer. The composition combined with the heavier overall weight makes camping blankets our warmest blankets. "Queen size quilt weighs 6.4 pounds. My

Beautiful, warm And frayed after a few months

The blanket is beautiful, beautiful, thick and warm. However, it doesn't seem to be very durable. The duvet was frayed and the stitched edge came off the duvet after two months of gentle use. I didn't wash it, I let the dog or cat play with it and in fact after each use (lying on the sofa in front of the TV) it was folded and put in the linen closet. The return window has just closed and the seller said I could not return the item and that my only option was to contact Pendleton and file aโ€ฆ

Outstanding quality in blankets and throws

Better than I expected. This blanket is heavy, thick, soft and warm. As I am very fond of washing woollens, I washed this duvet in the front loading washing machine on the hand wash setting, wrung it out well and laid it out to dry on the bed. Now it has become even softer and has hardly changed in size - at least I don't think so. Didn't measure before washing, but the label says 90"x 90" now 88"x 84". It's the perfect size for my queen mattress and I'm delighted with the quality andโ€ฆ
