I've been using this duvet since December and enjoy the warmth. However, I get holes. At first I thought maybe it's my cats. but I noticed that the cotton warp threads are the cause. Pull the quilt and tear the cotton warp threads and I have a hole. I bought a twin size that sits on my couch and has no holes. So far I've fixed three holes in the double bed and none in the twin room banging on the couch. I must have received a blanket with weak warp threads. I hope the holes stop appearing.

As I am very fond of washing woollens, I washed this duvet in the front loading washing machine on the hand wash setting, wrung it out well and laid it out to dry on the bed.
