A little better than a regular hair tie. Durability: Much better. Hair ties break too easily. Retention: slightly better. I think it probably grabs thicker hair better than fine hair. But over time I still slip. Elongation: expands over time but returns to normal overnight. I overstretch it in use (adding an extra loop) to account for the stretch. Hair Pulling: Slightly better, they are covered in a smooth finish so less hair is pulled. Colors are great - lots of options and they all work well.

They work incredibly well with my very long (butt) thick hair. While not their intended use, I've found them to be an even better fidgeting tool for me! I'm currently working on some serious anxiety and dissociation issues and wear a pair on my wrist when I know it might be a rough day. Twisting, stretching and wrapping around them really helps me focus and stay in the present. Also, they don't look grossly "fidgety" when I'm wearing them. I definitely recommend them for hair and fidgets!

Great product, especially at this price. I have thin hair and it works well for ponytails and buns. Has not broken and returns to normal size after wearing. They also sent me a cute little panda keychain, which was an extra step that the company shouldn't have taken (especially when the price of the product is already set, so we'll do it), but it was lovely. 😊 I was very happy. Would definitely buy again.

I really like this. I feel my hair breaks less since using it and my head definitely doesn't hurt as much as it does when using regular ponytail bands. They are a bit "big" for my hair thickness. If I wrap it around the ponytail twice, it will still be a little loose and won't hold the hair tight. If I stretch it very wide and wrap it three times, it holds the hair better, but then it seems too thick. All in all, this is 100% better than regular ponytail ties.

If you have thick hair, try this one, it feels very strong, stretchy, you can dip it in hot water and put it back! Definitely my favorite alternative to hair ties! (Gray - after wearing them for a day Green - after putting them in hot water) They also make great teething toys, an 11 month old loves them and spent 30 minutes just chewing them 😂 And a 2 year old loves They too😂 The only downside I can find is that after they've been in your hair all day and they stretch a little, you can't just

I really like these hair ties. They have a strong hold and won't pull hair out when removing. When I had to pick one thing to improve, they stretched a little. I can't use the same thing 2 days in a row and sometimes I have to switch in the middle of the day. But there is no need to worry as there are a lot of them in the pack and my hair is very thick so other types of hair ties break easily.
