One seal is sealed and the other is not sealed at all. I had to use sealant on the manifolds even though the manifolds were new and flat. Sealed with sealant.

I put them on and still had leaks after being sucked into the moon. I even heated them up with a flashlight, started the car and revved it up again. Maybe my manifold flange is really broken.

Be sure to check the part number on these manifold gaskets, they are for 2.5" not 3". Apart from the missing details in the description, this is a good product.

Chose these after my expensive multi-layer gaskets leaked and fell apart during disassembly. It is great. They seal well and you can reuse them when you pick up the exhaust system components later. No problems or leaks, really good product.
