reading was good. Then I checked the pressure in the distributor

This is a Chinese unit that comes under different names. I only use it on my device where I had some issues with the burners not lighting up immediately. I checked the pressure sensor, the readings are good. Then I checked the manifold pressure, it worked as expected, set it to 3.8 and everything is better now. The digital display worked great. I'm a mechanic and I do almost everything myself. Lots of good videos on your tube on how to check/repair a gas stove.

Null for -0.1 to 0.1 inH2O

Despite a resolution of 0.01 inH2O, the reading is 0.00 for a pressure range of -0.1 to 0.1. This appears to be the same trick used on bathroom scales to fool the customer into thinking the auto-zero works. I used the following technique to measure under 0.1:1 / applied any pressure over 0.2 inches of water (e.g. x) and then pressed and released the DIF button. .2/ An outdoor reading will now show -x.3/ A desired pressure reading can be obtained by changing the outdoor reading to a resolution…

Economical differential pressure transmitter

This worked very well for me and the price couldn't be better. I have a couple of static pressure sensors and use them to gauge my oven even when the filter needs to be replaced. I also ordered a used Pitot tube from E-Bay and can now measure flow. Please note that this device is differential (you can use single-ended). Some of the more expensive ones are actually two separate sensors, so it's possible to get two unbalanced readings at the same time, as well as the difference between them. But…
