Powerful drill bit tool

I used a Wilmar screw extractor set to successfully remove stripped socket head screws from a CV half shaft. I tapped the extractor with a small ball-point hammer and began turning the extractor. The tool dug into the hex bolt and pulled it out. Saved me a lot of time.

They didn't break! on Twist Drill

I bought these to pull out some left hand threaded bolts. The usual easy outs didn't work. The casting at the bolt break was warped and if it hadn't been the bolts would have come out easily. I found the drill guide recommendation a bit small, but I was working with class 8 hardware. You really have to hammer them into the hole you drilled in the broken bolt and then use a socket wrench to unscrew the bolt. Several screws were very tight and I was afraid the smaller piece I used would break…

I have some broken exhaust flange bolts from a 1990 Chevy K2500 truck engine that I have on my workbench. Since it's on a stand I have pretty good access to the screws. I drilled one and had no success with Easy Out so I bought this set. I used a 3/8" with a 6" long handle and with little effort. I lay on my back under the pipe and pulled it down. Other sizes are either too big or too small to work so the set is now useless until they come another broken bolt of a different size. I have been…
