Feels good but has some lag

It plugs in and works and I like the way it feels but there are times when the traffic stops. I don't buy crap with a superior mouse pad because I've had wireless mice on the same pad for 10 years and never had this problem. You can move the mouse around the screen and it will pause for about a second. For me it's just useless. This causes me to select text I don't want or even press the wrong key. Update: I've used this on another and it works much better. Noticeable 0 lags. The new computer…

Same shape as Anker

Well, it's very interesting to see how similar (or identical) this mouse is to Anker's vertical mouse. In the picture, the left is Perixx Perimice-513L, the right is Anker. They are exactly the same except the anchor is right handed and uses a slightly better material. Perixx was $14.99 and Anker was $22.99. I don't know how the prices differ, but Anker's matte material is better for hand grips. In any case, they are ergonomic and I like them. Since I have carpal tunnels in both hands, I use…

Comfortable with the wrist

I am left handed but have gotten used to a right handed mouse over the years. Then I got carpal tunnel and just a bit of computer time became too painful, so I switched my right mouse to my left and got used to using it that way. Then my left arm started to hurt. My son introduced me to the vertical mouse as he has the same problem and uses it a lot at work. I am very satisfied with this left mouse from Perixx. My hand is small, but it's still comfortable to use. The buttons are easy for me to…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • sad packaging

Good left vertical mouse. Its shape is identical to many other right-sided upright mice, only flipped to the other side, so it's already proven from an ergonomic point of view. I also have a few right-handed versions and they work really well too. A small problem, at least for me, is related to the button configuration. The top button is the "left" button and the bottom button is the "right" button. This means that if you previously used a left-handed mouse, you no longer need to change the…

Leftys Unite!: Computers & Accessories

I bought 3 of these - count them 3 and love them. You know how difficult it is to be left-handed in a right-handed world, but of course to find a mouse that's designed specifically for you, you have to buy one. I keep two at work, one for my desktop laptop and one for my computer bag when I'm called to meetings and need to leave quickly. What you'll find interesting is that the USB ports are not interchangeable, meaning that even if you do have a USB port, the device will only recognize the…

The controls on the left work well, on the right not so much

This is the first time I've tried a vertical mouse, so if some of my comments sound silly, I have no previous experience to continue. Installation was easy. I plugged in the USB, put the batteries in the mouse, turned it on and it worked right away. The landing of the mouse is not quite vertical. For me, vertical means like holding a cup in my hand. The fit is actually somewhere between just vertical and just horizontal. However, it is a very convenient form. The controls on the left side of…

I've been in the computer business since 1990 and my fingers and wrists have really started to pay the price. In 1993, my right hand started to hurt constantly, so I switched to using a mouse with my left hand. It helped a lot, but in the last few years I started getting pain again. Last year was so bad that I had to ice skate and stretch every night after work, and I started thinking about what other career I could choose once I could no longer use the computer. It was very painful. into…
