You can fix a hole in the head

Cylinder head. I mean. Used to repair loose exhaust flange bolts with spiral helix for extra grip, you can even unscrew them for re-installation.

Excellent material for fillers, adhesives and sealants

Well suited for repairing a very hot air compressor outlet that uses a very unusual compression fitting. Failed means I can't find a replacement anywhere. This works fine in a very hot application.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Obsolete

Used it to fill a small crack in 1989.

Repaired a small crack on a 1989 Chevy Pku K1500, still holding up, also used it on my tractor exhaust to stop a small leak in the clutch, all going well

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Not bad

Well, you know, it WORKS!

Never follow the instructions on an RTV and have it tuned before you have fully tightened the bolts. Tighten the screws in a criss-cross pattern to fully tighten the cover.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Secret

Recently purchased

I had a small exhaust leak which I used to patch on the manifold in my truck, still not sure if it would hold up but it's been a few days and I've managed had no problem. So time will tell I guess! Aside from this good product as far as "ease of use" goes, it ran into a bottleneck that I had to fix a leak!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • So far so good

The reviewer above said it worked great for their chemistry and I'm sure it did. But for my chemistry, it wasn't what I was looking for. My chemistry broke into several large pieces, when I put them back on you could barely see the hairline tears. This epoxy might work fine, but it's a putty and it takes up too much room in the crack so the parts couldn't be set exactly in place. What I need is some kind of liquid or gel that doesn't take up space.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Hard to say

Solid as a rock! Car care

I actually really like it. I repaired a BMW 740IL Transmission Cooling Control Valve that had a broken female fitting. It takes a long time to thoroughly knead this material into a beautiful golden brown color and almost feels like a dense toy when applied. And yes, you can smooth it out on your fingers with some water before the epoxy sets. I left it overnight and today the material is rock hard. If you use it on plastic like I did, be sure to take 90 grit sandpaper and scratch the surface you

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Ok for the most part, but...
