Outperforms goggles and capacitor

I installed this Pertronix system on my '62 Willys Jeep with an F-134 engine. It's a new engine and it started with a thimble of gas; The damn thing started right away and ran smooth! At the moment I'm happy!dne' Classiccarsandtools

Installed, launched and worked perfectly on the first click on the launcher

Wow, what a difference! Installed on my 1950 Franken Jeep. Couldn't even start with glasses. Installed, started, works flawlessly from the first click on the launcher. Smoother idle, smooth acceleration and reliable return to idle. Why did I wait so long to do this? The magnet was very tight on the distributor. I had to tap it slowly with a wrench. It wasn't a soft landing and I was worried it would break or otherwise not work, but it worked.

Bought for my 1960 Willys CJ5 Jeep. It has an Autolite IAY 4401 distributor (no vacuum advance) on the original F-134 -Engine. What you see in the photo is what you get. Remove the lid and rotor, then loosen the two side screws that secure the lid latches and the inner plate that holds the tips and condenser. Pull out the original plate. You then simply insert this plate and thread the wires through the side hole and attach the red + and negative wires directly to the coil (if you have an…
