I do a lot of rescue work and dogs sometimes chew through the air vents in plastic boxes. The metal openings on this box prevent this. That is a good thing . I will definitely get more of these. I just wish manufacturers could make drawers with doors that wouldn't rust after a year or two.

We have a 32 inch kennel for our Shiba who loves to chill in it during the day and sleep in it every night. a slightly smaller size that it also fit, but had to crouch a bit on the inside. So we decided to buy him a bigger "apartment" to make him feel more comfortable and we can say he appreciates the extra room. A very sturdy drawer, although this size does not have a top handle it does have "lifting" rails on either side.

I use this kennel to easily travel and fly my macaw. It's a good size and we've put up a perch for the bird to stand on when travelling. The only thing I would have liked from this kennel would be a handle or two on the top for easy portability. That's the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five. We felt safe with steel front grilles and side vents. Didn't want just plastic holes for safety reasons. Thank you!

We bought this last month because our newly adopted black lab (currently 28lbs) messed up her metal cage with severe separation anxiety. This kennel is amazing. We adopted a rescued beagle/terrier and he is very afraid of separation if I leave. He can't hang around the house while we're gone even for 15 minutes because he's so scared he'll destroy my house. This kennel was mostly disappointing. It was a struggle until the moment I finally assembled it and started working. The first had a hole at the top (see photo). The shipping box didn't appear to be damaged so I can only assume it was damaged in the packaging.
