Rust in paint bottles

As other reviewers have said these bearings will rust in your paint bottles. Luckily I only put them together in a few colors and never bothered to include them in my entire collection out of sheer laziness. I noticed discoloration at the bottom of one of the bottles so I pulled out the bearings and found that out of the 5 colors I had time to apply the bearings 4 were rusty and 1 was not. Not a very good chance if you need them to mix colors. look elsewhere

Fits most nail polish bottles

3/16" bearings fit all standard nail polish bottle openings. I like to add thermochromic or photochromic pigments to clear coat and I need to break up clumps with ball bearings - so they are perfect for this use.I would give 5 stars if they came in a resealable package which I think would be more convenient for most users.FYI: Two ball bearings per bottle seems to work fine for me but if you use thicker polish or bigger glitter you could try adding three --- I don't think that would be a…

Good for what they were designed for

There are many one star reviews complaining about rust in the water. It is important to note that these balls are made of 52100 Chrome Steel which is NOT STAINLESS STEEL! It is a medium-hard steel designed for waterproof, low-impact, and temperature-independent environments such as bicycle axle hubs. 52100 chrome steel will corrode completely when exposed to water and oxygen, therefore these balls are not suitable as a paint stirrer or polish. 304 stainless steel, the same material cutlery is…
