Very well stackable 3.5 " bay

I actually use this unique one, I cut one out and JB welds it to the SSF and stacks the 3.5" drives on the outside. It works great, the slices are very tight, I can put in the whole stack or just one of the ones I need, the metal is nice and thick and very strong.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Weak kit

Exactly what I needed to add hard drives.

This is exactly what I was looking for when I added more hard drives to the case. Of course, it needs a bit of modification to attach to the case, but it does what it takes to hold a 3.5-inch hard drive in an awkward position without the use of double-sided tape or tape.

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • Expandable

Great, No: Computer Components

This is great hardware but I almost didn't buy it because the size listed here made it too big to easily fit my application. This is incorrect information. Here is the actual size of each sleeve: 6 1/4" x 4 3/16" x 1 3/8"

It's hard, you can do it yourself

I've had to change my NAS case for a long time and wanted to upgrade to a tempered glass case, but I couldn't find anything with enough hard drive slots I know that they are made to fit in a Phanteks case, but the cost of shipping to Hawaii was beyond my budget. These trays are good quality, modular and already painted black. It was risky to use them with the case I bought but it worked! To get this to work I turned them upside down and flipped them over to fit properly and then tied groups of…

Never buy just one

Bought 2 a while ago and came in one big box. Now I've bought another one and a highly intelligent being decided it would be nice to send a small box (not very strong) in a large envelope. So the end result is a very good pancake. Update: After an hour of bending I got it back into working shape. It doesn't look like much, but it will do the job.

Cons
  • Crumpled

That's what he says, that's not saying much.

A simple article if you need the large capacity of a 3.5 inch hard drive in some Phanteks cases this is what you need to install them properly. The case I used for my most recent build was the Phanteks Enthoo 719 which comes with 4 x 3.5" HDD mounts (2 double sets) but can hold up to 12 mounts (6 double sets). I had to fit six 3.5" drives, so Phanteks thinks I'll have to buy them separately. I personally think for a case of this size it should come with 6 but that's a small issue. Good quality…
