📀 Philips BDP2205 - F7 Blu-ray Player with Enhanced Built-In WiFi Connectivity Review

The Philips BDP2205 Blu Ray Player was a huge letdown. My analysis of this product showed that its performance was extremely mediocre. The picture quality was subpar with colors appearing dull, and the player often froze and needed to be restarted. The only positive was its affordable price, but that's not enough to make up for the unstable playback. I wouldn't purchase this product again.

This Blu-ray disc player is of high quality. It's so easy to connect and works great. It remembers where you stopped the disc (Blu-Ray or DVD). If you insert a disc but insert it incorrectly, the tray will slide back out so you can realign it. No more jumping through hoops to "unclip" a disc. I recommend this player to everyone.

I wanted a basic Blu-ray player that I could use if I decide against buying a Smart TV. I haven't used Netflix or anything other than a basic Blu-Ray or DVD. However, what annoys me the most is how long it takes for the drive bay to open. Even with nothing in the slot, it takes a decent minute to open and close. Very disappointed with Philips product.
