This rating applies only to the smallest 22" model 226E9QDSB with a viewable area of 22" (21.5"). VESA issue: I bought 2 of these specifically to mount the vesa to my desk. I have the VIVO dual mount here at Revain. Most Vesa mounts are universal. with 75x75 mm and 100x100 mm. The VESA holes on this monitor are 75mm and poorly placed. The picture is great, the picture looks sharper than my other, admittedly much older, model and the colors are more vibrant. However, would it be so difficult to align the video input connectors to be more compatible with the VESA mounting system? I had to cut off the bottom of the monitor mount to get at something other than a VGA port, which by the way isn't on my computer.

The first device I got was a Lemon and it had issues with the brightness increasing dramatically once I set it to the desired level. Another issue is that the color calibration was very wrong even when I reset the settings. The second device I received through Amazon's no-hassle return was perfect. I use this monitor as a second monitor with a DVI-D cable and it works great! No problems, delivered very quickly. I'm happy with my purchase, however I don't like the monitor stand, but that doesn't bother me at all and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap monitor for gaming, but personally I like it as a second monitor.

I read all the negative reviews and then checked Fakespot. Fakespot gave Phillips a B and the Revain reviews an A. So someone who tends to prefer big brands and can't afford a bigger, higher quality monitor with all the extras. I chose that. This monitor replaced the eight-year-old AOC LCD. AOC worked fine, but when I upgraded my desktop from XP to Windows 10, AOC wasn't sharp enough. I still have an XP machine to use with the old software and it works fine with it too. The image on it is fantastic, sharp and clear. I use it in a dual monitor configuration and can't speak highly enough about the thin bezel for side-by-side use. For the price, I don't think it could be better. Yesterday I installed the monitor, I had to do some tinkering with the VESA mount. I used a grinder to sand off some of the metal on the bracket so the DVI cable would fit, but it worked. Haven't used it in games yet but will try soon. So far I've only used it for video editing and document viewing. I have to play around with the picture settings to see which profile suits my viewing needs best.

There was a red vertical bar from top to bottom of the screen for 2 weeks. I barely used it for a total of 5 hours. Return and Return Request

For less than $100 this is a great monitor. Not the best, but still good enough for an initial setup, and it's a big screen to plug into my Surface.

The way the VESA holes are configured ensures that each plate blocks the inputs. There are many other monitors like this one, spend your money elsewhere.

Completely stopped working after a month and a half. It worked fine for the most part then, except that I had to unplug and plug it back in a few times a week. Then suddenly it stopped detecting the video input.

All in all a great monitor for the price, I have a 22 inch and it has great picture quality, the only downside is the frame rate. I don't notice tearing or other weird effects in any game I play, but I still wish it was bigger if it was 100+ Hz, but for the price I can handle it.

Bought for a friend who is very satisfied. His monitor was broken and he wanted to upgrade it. He's a gamer. I didn't have much money to help him. He is very grateful.

Was looking for a monitor that would be compatible for installation. This monitor is not suitable for the VESA mount. The connectors on the back are not suitable for VESA. It has a non-detachable stem (designed for a stand) which is also not designed for installation. See attached picture. Will return the item.
