Works well - Electricity

Due to the tropical weather on the east coast I installed four T8 UV-C lamps under my house to prevent the growth of fungi, spiders etc. I used plain white Romex wire and a timer. Ground the ballast body at the mounting screw - there is no ground wire or green screw on it. Hot and neutral wires enter receptacles at opposite ends. These are 4 x 30W T8 UVC bulbs. Works 24 hours, wires and ballast do not heat up. I have used these Philips ballasts before and they have worked for years with no…

Easy to install once you get a human readable schematic from this site.

These ballasts work great. Bought 4 dual ballast lights and 4 bulbs from Habitat for Humanity. Installed and as expected the lights flashed. I ordered 4 of these ballasts. I removed the top where the ballast and cables go. Although I originally tested this light, my tester beeped at the point where the house wiring enters the light but no current exits the ballast. In my case I didn't pull the cables at home where I could see this connection. I didn't do this so I decided the problem was in the ballast. What happened in my case, the white wire came out of the wire nut. So my old ballast was fine. If 1 tube fails, the other 3 will not work. I needed new…

Perfect combination, works great!

Shipped to me very quickly! I ordered this for a large top 4 fluorescence fixture in my kitchen .I knew something was wrong when all 4 of the bulbs went out at the same time and there was nothing wrong with a switch or light switch leading to that light. As I had never changed a ballast before (but had heard of the term ), I decided to try it myself but I have a disability so it took me a little longer than someone in better physical shape than me, but I got the job done after watching the…
