High-quality materials included!

This set is impressive. The wearable silicone patch is extremely realistic. You can clearly see the veins under the "skin". All the tools you need for successful IV therapy are included in this box. The presentation of this product is attractive and professional. This kit even comes with a free electronic guide to walk you through the IV therapy process. Great gift idea for a medical student!

A great resource for health students

The practical skin is very realistic and easily simulates a real patient's blood draw or intravenous infusion as it can be tied to a person's arm and administered water for more realistic practices. It came with all the blood draw and IV supplies needed to practice in-cabin bloodletting and start the IV. The included free e-book was very helpful and easy to understand. I have tried several phlebotomy babies for my students in the past and this one is by far the best.

Mixing and blending equipment overhaul needed

I bought this to practice my phlebotomy skills but unfortunately had to return it. First, the training "hand" is not at all like a real one. Second, it was constantly leaking and not allowing the liquid to be drawn out with a syringe very easily. Because of that, I didn't feel like it would do me any good. To be honest it was more trouble than it was worth. I haven't opened all the hardware so I can't comment on the durability/quality of the needles etc. I really wanted to like this product…
