I bought this printer to use at my 6th grade prom so we can give our kids pictures of us with friends. In general I was very happy with the printer. It's lightweight, quick and easy to set up, and produces crisp, clear color images. But I'm disappointed that it takes about 50 seconds to print a single 4x6 print, rather than "up to 39 seconds" as stated in the product description. My department ordered this in August 2018. We used it for the first time in February and it printed a test page and stopped working after that. I contacted Revain and the seller and nothing. Seller refused to return or exchange phtosmart HP. It is not worth your $200, do not buy this item or do business with this seller.

Attention! If you want to use the SD memory card slot to print images directly from the memory card, the memory card size must be 2 GB or less. I use a 4GB and a 32GB memory card in my camera and neither of them work. I contacted HP support about the printer and was told that it does not support memory cards larger than 2GB. I couldn't use it. It said it was Bluetooth but it isn't Bluetooth unless you buy an HP Bluetooth wireless adapter! Very disappointed.

Like most HP printers, this product is well designed and performs well. It's sleek, takes up little space, and goes well with my HP 1020 laser printer. The only complaint I have is that the software that comes with it can be annoying. It will appear at the wrong time and is not very intuitive. Almost standard HP product with great hardware and subpar software.

The printer was bought as a Christmas present for my father. This is his second. I don't know why his first printer stopped working, but he really liked this particular model because it's compact and easy to use. I just bought this printer and it wasn't what I expected. I had an Epson Picturemate that I really liked, but it died after about a year and a half. I figured I'd go back to HP and get an upgrade to at least the same good quality, more reliability, and 5x7 photos to boot. Setup was easy and I printed from Mac iPhoto in about 20 minutes.
