Switching to a new racquet

After playing pickleball for a few years, I decided to buy a new racquet. I chose this paddle for several reasons. 1) Price - very affordable 2) Design - no additional graphics or names on the paddle like other paddles. he is clean Played a couple of times today - it will be necessary to adjust the game for him. Light paddle so I need to put more power on my swing.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great Control - Great Price!

love this paddle! It doesn't fly off my face so I can better control my drinks and drips. He can hit hard but that's not the point of the game and I have no problem getting the ball deep. This is a great paddle at a great price. It's not for the competition yet. Check the USAPA website for permitted paddles if this is your ticket.

Impressive Best in Sport

I started as a beginner about a month ago. Before the class, I watched the video and started looking closely at the oars. I didn't like the typical performance of an entry-level paddle, but I didn't want to spend €150 right away. I also wanted the paddle to have a resolved textured surface to add spin. This Esper paddle did a great job. I have good power and sweet spot plus spin control. I am very happy with this purchase. Oh and I saw another review asking if the paddle was legal given the…

  • Easy to read control panel

As advertised - probably geared more towards top players.

Pros: + Lightweight + Sturdy construction + Very textured surface (great for turning) + Multiple grip options + Case included + Quiet recoil (shocks) Cons + Small nice stain - Size with the pickleball - I'd say this racquet is more for the experienced player. (I'm going to put lead tape on the edge of my club. Pros and Cons: Club feedback. You know when you're hitting the sweet spot because the pickball comes off the surface of the paddle hot. You know that miss-hits are more common Then the…

Solid is what Solid does

This is my first pickleball bat. I used to play a lot of tennis so it took me a while to get used to the rules (ie stupid "kitchen"!). I also played a lot of table tennis, so this particular game is a good "teen". The paddle is durable; I'm still getting used to its characteristics - when I really hit that sweet spot, this paddle is a killer! I love the extra texture it provides as I can add topspin or backspin to ground hits or be more subtle on net hits. I like the weight and the grip; I…

Pleasantly surprised management

I took a chance based on online reviews and am very happy with the control and comfort of this paddle. I was intrigued by the "textured surface" so I bought the ball because I had already given it enough spin. I have to admit that this paddle adds another 15-20% spin ratio depending on your speed. He also seems to grab the ball for better control on dings and soft shots. Doesn't pop as hard as the previous racket, but its sound exudes subtle control rather than just brute force. Offers more…

  • Robust design

AS GOOD AS ELECTRUM PRO (POSSIBLE BETTER) FOR HALF THE COST

I bought this racquet to replace my Electrum Pro racquet which was making an odd noise when hitting the ball made, and he was less than a year. Electrum will not replace the paddle as its 6 month warranty against defects has expired although I did not play with it for the first 4 months due to COVID regulations and the court was closed. This racquet plays just as well, if not better than the Electrum Pro. The paddle isn't as wide as the Electrum, which I really like. The interface looks…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Great paddle for beginners it seemed like it should go to intermediate level

I just got it yesterday and only played 3 games with it today but damn I was ahead of where I was with mine last paddle was . I used the Styker 5 7.3 OZ which was $60 from Dicks Sporting Goods. I initially liked it because it was so light, but after playing with it constantly I found that it absorbed contact with the ball. Basically, he had no power. This new paddle is solid and I played much better today with more power, precision and easier positioning. I also like the texture on it. I was…
