Great DPNs, especially for beginners

double pointed needles is tricky if you have never done it before. Sometimes it can feel like you need an extra hand! I have this and other brands. As a beginner I found Knit Picks needles to be easier to use than my other needles because they are really smooth and don't snag on yarn like others like bamboo. They are also very pretty and come in great colors. The only thing I would like to change is to make both ends fairly sharp instead of just having one "extra sharp" end. You'll figure out…

Very smooth BUT be careful

In my experience KnitPicks products are generally excellent. While they are very good, they are NOT beginner's needles. In fact, if you can afford it (NOT me! LOL), these DPNs will force you to relax tension and thus smooth out your knitting pace. B. - be gentle or (literally) pay the price. My husband will tell you - if my needle pops in the middle of my project, let's just say it's good that there are no children in our house.
