If you need some wood.

I had this thing flapping all over the place and I was like, 'If I only had some wood', I wouldn't need so much wood to put it in and stiffen this old flexible thing. He is old and crippled by a long childhood. Family and alone time, laughter and love, I remember some tender valentines with that big old dining table, I was so glad I got that leg fixed.

METRIC, not SAE matters

Metric – Unfortunately, small differences in size make a big difference. I wanted to use them to store sockets. 10mm that should be 3/8 is not. You can HEAD them in hole 3/8. But if you put a 3/8 head on it, you'll need layers to remove it. I have used real SAE 3/8 dowels several times for this application with excellent results. They were metric and didn't fit. Close, but no cigar. Pretty good quality for the price. So far only 1 bad (chipped). I just wish they weren't metric.
