🧹 Dyson Stretch Hose Assembly for DC40, DC41, DC65, UP13, UP14, UP20 Models - Compatible with Upright Vacuum Cleaners Review

The product has arrived, almost like the picture. The quality is definitely not comparable to original Dyson equipment. The hose feels less sturdy than the original, the tool mounting part is VERY prone to falling off as the clamps are NOT tight enough, and the flow is limited by the rubber pad where the mass is clamped onto the hose.

I hope Revain will resolve this negative review since it rejected my last application which was suspicious.1. Apparently my device has a manufacturing issue. I don't invent Revane. The cap inside is glued to the part of the hose that caused the rupture.2. I can't find the company that makes them, I need a replacement and I don't know how to contact them. Bought this hose because he said it would fit the Dyson UP13. Technically it's compatible, but it's TOO LONG. This means there isn't much clearance between the top of the hose and where the wand sits in the handle. I have to struggle with it a bit every time I take it out or put it back in the pen. I just got it to the point of telling you it lasts as long as the original.

I was concerned after some negative reviews but the price was great. The original broke and my husband fixed it with tape, but this quick fix prevented the hose from returning to its mount. To install. Squeeze the base and squeeze the extension rod and I'm ready again! There is a little difference in the updated version, the appearance is smoother where it connects to the extension. The suction power is great, as with all Dysons! I'm so happy.

Replacement hose of the same quality as the original. There are no instructions on how to remove/replace the hose, but there are a few "instructions" on YouTube - very easy. As other reviewers point out, (1) there is little wiggle room at the connection point. However, when the vacuum is turned on, the suction stabilizes it; and (2) the small "O-ring" shifted when I removed the wand. Your original Dyson hose with 3" tape holes will work better than this copy. Compared to the original hose with holes covered in tape, my vacuum has actually lost so much suction power through this piece of debris that I can't even use the rotating-head hose nozzle I use to clean my machine of dog hair. I was a bit worried after reading some of the negative comments here that the hose didn't fit and the quality wasn't very good. I took a chance as this is two thirds the price of the original part. It fits snugly on the broken OEM hose I have. It was easy to replace on my vacuum cleaner. As you can see from my photos, there are two small differences: the plastic tongue (black instead of red) and the foam padding. The original gasket has adhesive on one side so it (sort of) stays in place…

Seller uses misleading images (turns out these are images of a genuine Dyson part, not this product) and the actual product that was sent to me was completely inconsistent. It barely fit in my vacuum and wasn't as easy to install/remove as my old hose and it didn't increase suction. In fact, it appeared to have slightly less suction power, likely due to the sheer cheapness of its parts and poor quality.
