Pioneer TS WX1010A Enclosure Subwoofer Amplifier Review

I have an Alpine head unit and (4) Rockford Fosgate speakers. I've had this subwoofer and 2 Rockford Fosgate subwoofers on my wish list for quite some time. After reading the reviews I decided to go for it. It doesn't disappoint! I love it. my son is jealous And all my colleagues know when I come to work. I read a few reviews on this product before deciding to buy it. Most of these were positive. The people who weren't happy with this subwoofer either got a defective unit or hooked it up incorrectly. I'm as happy as I can be with this sub. I have a 12" Pioneer Sport Series in the trunk of my car and can't say enough about its performance, but this 10" Pioneer I bought for my truck might sound better. Easy to install in the trunk of a Honda Civic. I also bought a Boss 8 gauge cable set. The 10 inch sub took up little space and sounded more than good in a small car. No distortion. Very beautiful! I love the woofer grille. It protects especially in the trunk I'm glad I went for this one without them instead. What I don't like now are the power and ground wires from the unit. That's fine. Otherwise this is a fantastic subwoofer for the price. Better known brand than other crappy brands.

Sounds great in the cab. Outside ten. There is not much to say about the trunk. I didn't want it there. It's easier to install if you have a standard subwoofer or RCA outputs. I have decided to replace all speakers and add a powered subwoofer to my S60 '04 (HU 613) as the first step in a budget upgrade to my sound system. I've always preferred bazookas when I just wanted some bass to fill the bottom end of songs because they're all in one unit. design and ability to deliver acceptable bass from a 6-8" woofer.
