I love these mounts. Well made, perfect geometry, smooth with no sharp edges to pinch the pipe even on my 10 inch dolly wheels.

Being larger makes them easier to use when changing tires on an off-road motorcycle. more, IMO. They are better because of the leverage. Don't doubt, they are very helpful.

I bought 3 of these along with some rim protectors and they made the process very easy. I highly recommend 3 as two just isn't enough to easily slide the tire on and off the rim. They are strong yet thin and light which makes them very convenient to use. Great irons and they have holes so hanging for storage is very easy too.

Had the opportunity to test the PIVOTRAX tire assembly on a set of fresh tires with mousse. I usually use Rabaconda tire changers which have become my favorites. But PIVOTRAX has a great shape that sticks to the rim very well. Is not slipped or bent. I change tires weekly and need more of these mounts. I've discovered the hard way that repairing a tubular motorcycle tire is 70% technique and 30% tools, but tools are very important. Some pry bars have large "spoon" ends. Some people like it but I found them to be overly intrusive and contributed to a lot of pinching and flat pipes when installed. Very frustrating. But as I learned more (and unfortunately had a lot of practice) my technique improved and I appreciated the thinner lips of these irons. If your technique is good, you'll never need…
