I've been buying planar monitors for almost 20 years. All had solid foundations. It's just rubbish compared to their other monitors. Without confusing their quality, I haven't used them often enough to say they are really bright and difficult to tone down. I have purchased 7 planar monitors for myself and my family and have never been disappointed. I was impressed with their quality control - not a single dead pixel. Great monitors for the price, I've had them for almost a year now and they've even broken down before and they still work perfectly. Definitely recommend buying these if you can't afford the more expensive brands. I had some issues with the coasters although they are not very strong and difficult to adjust but overall a great product!

Worked less than a year until it stopped working. The connection between the connector and the monitor failed. There are nuances.

One of the reasons I bought the Planar monitor is because the website says they are an American company with manufacturing in Oregon. And the back of the monitor says "Made in China". I would call it false advertising.

I bought this monitor as a spare monitor and put it in a spare office six months ago. Watched it an hour or two a week and now it's broken.

Easy to use and gets the job done, but the image is distorted and websites struggle to align with it. HDMI is better, but not noticeable. I use it every day on the go and it's so much better than not having one! I'm glad I got it, but I'd be curious if the cheaper one is just as good.

Of course you won't get more than 60 fps (hence the 4 stars for gaming) but the picture quality is excellent. Definitely happy with my purchase!

I tried calling Revain but they are being inundated with calls during this COVID-19 pandemic and couldn't take my call. Very disappointed.

It really is a horror. I can't look at the screen. There is a visible flicker or refresh. The color is very blue and the screen is dark. None of the adjustments fixed the problem. Send them back immediately.

The first monitor broke but they (Revain) fixed it and I got a replacement monitor shipped the next day! This one works great, looks great and I love that there is no big brand name on the front or sides!

He is less than 6 months old and already failing. My IT support says it's definitely a monitor malfunction. We verified that the computer's output is reliable - by checking remote desktop login sessions. The monitor has constantly flickering side lines at the bottom of the screen (taskbar position). According to Revain, product support ended in July? 90 days. Oops. I have never had a monitor failure in the first 5 years of use let alone 5 months.
