AFTER SEVERAL SEARCHES I FINALLY FOUND THE DRAWER SLIDES I NEEDED. MAN WAS FINALLY ABLE TO REPAIR THE DRAWER, SO I DON'T STEP ON IT NOW. It was expensive furniture and we had to repair it several times. WHY DON'T YOU MAKE THEM FROM METAL AND NOT PLASTIC?

I am very happy with this drawer slide. I had a bedside table that might have had to be thrown out because the original slide broke and the drawer didn't stay in place. Installed one of these and the box works like new! Easy installation with included screws. I highly recommend this product. We used one on a drawer 3 months ago and the drawer is used daily. Still works great.

This was a direct replacement for a dresser purchased over 40 years ago. I was so happy that I had found the perfect match. I've also included a photo of the part and added some dimensions that some might find helpful. For measurements, I used a caliper rather than a traditional ruler. The long wooden rail in my dresser is slightly smaller in design than the plastic rail itself.

These drawer slides are the perfect replacement for defective slides that have been replaced. The screw holes lined up almost perfectly, so no new holes had to be drilled. Since most plastics become brittle over time, these runners too can eventually fail, causing drawers to lean dangerously forward when opened. But now, and for the next decade or two, fixing the drawers in two dressers was just what I needed. I would definitely buy them again.

This was a great replacement for what my son broke on a dresser drawer. My kids are pretty rough with furniture and the drawer won't stay in place properly when my son breaks the piece of plastic that was originally on the drawer. This part is actually slightly thicker than the original and is easy to assemble with a screwdriver. I love that it's a 6 pack as I'm sure my little beast will break another one or more.

I replaced my Ronthor Reiss R-40-28 with these. The Ronthor Reiss are stapled in a box, have screw holes and come with very sharp small wood screws. Contains 6 pieces. Perfect fit and solidly built. I've ordered 12 more to replace the rest of the broken 50's. I applied some Johnson paste wax to the wood splint and rubbed the rest of the finished wood into the box while taking the boxes out and the boxes are working great again.

Glad I found them! Although they were a bit different in design from the originals in my drawers, I took a chance and ordered them anyway. I thought if they fit on the center rail I might have to mount them a bit higher on the drawers but they will work. As it turned out, they matched perfectly and used the same mounting holes. I fixed all 4 drawers in about 20 minutes. Now all boxes work correctly again and do not fall over when opened. Highly recommended!

A few years later we discovered that our 6 drawer bedroom dresser had some drawers that needed fixing - they didn't move properly when you opened and closed them and threatened to fall out if you were more than half open.
