These little knitting kits were the biggest hit Christmas morning. My daughter and I sat and learned how to knit together while watching a Christmas movie and it was honestly the highlight of my day. We had no previous experience with knitting but found the instructions very easy to follow. We have plans to go buy more yarn to make the little bitty’s more clothes already. We would love to see more sets come out with new Bittys to collect.

We are excited to give this craft set to our seven-year-old who is interested in both knitting and little cute characters. This set combines both! The box comes with everything needed to successfully create the little outfits: detailed instructions, sufficient yarn, knitting loom, needle, and the knitting wand. The included character (a fox for us) is well-made, and endearing. And to top it off, the set comes in an inviting and attractive box. This will be a fun "together” project!

The instructions had a QR code on them, but they lead to a sales page. If you scroll down, there’s a youtube video, but it’s just an advert. My 11yo is very artsy/craftsy, but I couldn’t get her interested in this. Still, I thought I’d learn how to do it myself and get it started or make one of the projects. Its cute, but my 11 year old was easily and quickly frustrated due to the lack of good visual instructions. She wanted to do it herself, and did not WANT to ask for help. Maybe a video would be a better option to include with something like this. Its a cute idea, but if a competent 11 year old needs more help, it might be time to revamp the instructions a bit.

I am very surprised with this kit! It comes with instructions and materials for a tiny hat, shirt and scarf for the little fox figure. Our 8yr old completed the hat and is working on the shirt now. She opened it and figured it out all on her own. The instructions are very easy to follow and come with many colorful pictures to walk you through it. Although this is a cute knit kit, we find it’s fairly complicated, especially for beginners like our seven year old. If you’re looking to learn frustration-free loom knitting, look elsewhere. There is a scan-to-see-video on the box, but this is still a challenge for younger kids.
