Not very flattering for wide hips

This skirt is not a very flattering cut for wide hips. I didn't knock any stars off because it's cute and well-made, just not right for my body type. For reference I'm 5'6", 28" waist and 40" hip, and ordered a size medium. For my body shape I think a longer skirt and wider waistband/softer taper would be a better look.(As an aside, the shirt I ordered with it was a much better look. Allegra K's "Peter Pan Collar Bow Tie Neck Long Sleeve" for anyone curious)

Lining is much shorter than the skirt

The lining is much shorter than the skirt and it is visible, since the fabric is pretty thin. Some pleads are also broken because of the way it was packed. Still thinking if I will keep it.

Tried on but haven’t worn yet.

I liked that it fit, size M, even though my waist (36”) is bigger than size chart, but i can wear some shorts in size 8. Took it out of package & wasn’t wrinkled, just had the beautiful pleats. Seems to make my belly seem smaller but haven’t worn it yet. I bought it to attend congregation meetings. Will update later. My only concern is if the material will make it hot to wear here in Hawai’i where it's quite humid.

Really nice skirt! Fits snug, which is perfect for tucking a fitted shirt into waist band. I am 5'6/5'7' and 125lbs and ordered a small.

Perfect pleated skirt!

I'm admittedly one of those people. the ones who never write reviews, but rely on them so much when making a purchase. I'm breaking that habit because this skirt is amazing. I'm 5'2", 135lbs, and purchased a small in black. It is lined, and the weight is substantial. not sheer or see through at all. The pleats are a unique, pretty design. The waistband is elastic, with quite a bit of stretch. I haven't attempted a wash yet, so crossing my fingers it holds up. I'm so happy with the quality and…

I like everything about this skirt, its absolutely beautiful, it looks expensive it flows, it's feminine and you can't beat the price, exactly what I was looking for. And it's not to short, I'm 5'11. I'm wearing it on my wedding day with a beautiful lace top. I couldn't be more happy.
