Not the best. Regret this order.

It's not so much about the product as how it came to me. It looked like it had been chewed by a dog or other animal. It was dirty and I'm afraid it will get stuck on my fabric if I use it. It's also not the best for holding fabric as it doesn't have ridges or spots to grab fabric and keep it from shifting like my round plastic holders. .

Not as good as I was hoping

I got these yesterday for a moderately intensive cross stitch project I'm doing. I put it on and pressed it as soon as I received it. I was excited! But after pushing it down I found that it took no time at all for the center of the longer sections of the frame to come loose. He has nothing to stick to the fabric. It slides freely. waste of good money. You only had to buy a standard round. :( very disappointed.

The rectangular shapes are AWESOME; However it can hold the fabric better

The inside could be improved if there was a lip on one side to prevent them from slipping through the outside. I bought a round plastic frame from a local store a few years ago and it has a rib that does a great job of keeping the fabric from shifting. too slippery and it also results in the inner hoop just slipping out of the outer hoop and not holding the fabric the way I wanted for machine embroidery. . My fingers are pretty nimble, but the small heads made it difficult to get the outer hoop

Does not contract the material

Does not hold the material tightly. I'm sending them back for this reason. I had a set of round ledge tires for which the other tire had a ledge that went into the ledge and held very tight. This brand didn't offer that, but I didn't know about it until I got it. I'm still looking for that form with the feature I just mentioned. If you are working on your embroidery and want your material to hold firmly I would look elsewhere.

Good concept, less fun in practice

I was glad to try an embroidery hoop that was not round. They are easier to hold, but I had a hard time maintaining fabric tension even when tightening the outer hoop to the max. On my round hoops, the inner hoop has a small ridge. When you put the inner and outer rings together, that little lip holds the tension. These hoop earrings do not have a small hem, the inner hoop simply sits within the outer hoop rather than resting on top of it like hem hoops do. Nothing prevents him from slippingā€¦
