Bought this for my air spring because it said it was DOT compliant and based on other people's reviews. I gave it 3 stars because if you need it for an air tool or horn it would probably be good. I used it with air suspension and it leaked like crazy. it's 1/4", but has thicker walls than most 1/4". thick walls and smaller air passage

It's hard plastic. I don't know why they asked if it stretches well. not the point. It worked perfectly. It worked too well for what I had to have Utah 3/8. Durability was what I was looking for and it worked great with a heat gun I bought from Revain a while back. Thank you Revain at this difficult time we are all going through. WORLD PEACE PEOPLE!

I used this line to have compressed air on board my truck. I didn't use it on an air brake, so DOT approval didn't matter. BTW there is NO DOT # in the string I have. The quality seems to be consistent, it cuts well and I used the connectors I bought here from Revain. Now I have a convenient way to inflate tires without taking up truck space.
