There were no instructions for this product so I'm still playing with it and trying to figure out how to get rid of scratches.

This kit includes literally everything you need to polish out small scratches on glass (as well as plastic). But there is no way to attach their base pads to the power drill. Customer service treated me fairly for this small oversight. Overall a nice offer.

The lack of any instructions is made worse by the lack of numbering on the discs. Of course, some of them were clearly #150 just by touch, but the very fine slices were unmarked, allowing the user to guess which was rougher than the other. Marking the grinding wheels or adding an insert showing what would cost $0.05. Clearly Chinese crap.

Didn't work at all. There is no guide for this. The wheel is too small and I didn't know what all the other attachments are for as only the felt is for polishing glass. The felt pad did not have an adapter for attachment to a drill. Total failure and loss of money. Would give a null save if that was an option.

My SUV's rear window and mirrors were blown off by high winds with small rocks, resulting in hundreds of tiny holes. Thought I'd try that before investing in glass replacement. It didn't seem to work and the bodywork expert confirmed that the glass needed to be replaced. So now the car is in the body shop for expensive repairs and painting. I think it was worth trying.

The product is delivered without instructions for use! REVISED. I decided to try it. I went to YouTube to see how to use it. I have to acknowledge his amazing results. Takes a little time, but it's worth the effort. Simply use the powder with water to a creamy consistency. Soft pad with windshield drill, especially when you have scratches from windshield wipers. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is that it didn't come with any instructions.

Sandpaper can be used to initially remove most scratches. You can even use sandpaper to smooth out a large area (3 inches wide and 6 inches long) where scratches might be present. However, you will never be able to polish a large area with the drill bit and polishing pad included in the kit. The only way to polish an area like this was to buy a 7 inch variable speed polisher and buffing wheel. Even then, it took me several hours to polish that area clean.

Cerium oxide (pink powder) worked well enough but pretty much everything else was a waste of time. It's almost impossible to get good contact with 2 inch abrasive pads when rotating them with a drill. A mini angle grinder would probably work better. Carved and used my DA (Double Action) grinder to do the job. I found that using a lot of ceria in a thick paste (like peanut butter) worked best, and working on a small area worked much better than trying to polish a large amount of ceria, creating…

They are labeled 5/16"-24T, they aren't!
