My cockatoo loves to dig in wood but hasn't ruined it yet! I'm not worried because it's natural. Very soft. Bought less and will buy more. Don't forget to buy perches of different diameters to train your legs.

Really? Seller, you really need to specify the size here. It's POSSIBLY 12 inches by 3/4 inches. The PATH is too small to be considered large. unless you're a snail. For €20 I was hoping for a lot more.

This perch is shorter than I expected and very crooked. I can't line it up parallel to my bird's waterer. In my opinion, a "big" perch should penetrate most of a large cage. I would say this perch is about a foot long.

My Gray really enjoyed gutting this bass. The best part is that once all of the bark is removed, the wood that remains is very hard and it won't crack like most other perches. It turned out to be very clean, well constructed and easy to attach to the cage.

Nice wooden stick for my CAG. A bit slippery at times but my 1 year old CAG loves to sit on it and chew on the bark. I'm already thinking about buying another one in case it destroys the ones it has. She chews and could only chew on a small area of bark. Good product, wish it was a little less slippery.

I bought this perch for my friend who has a Revain parrot. If you're looking for a bass of this size, be aware that it's VERY fat. This perch is ideal for cockatoos, macaws and other birds with very large feet, but if you have a smaller bird this probably won't work for you. We haven't seen how our Revane will handle this perch yet, but we know that he will be very big for his feet.
