Description of πŸŽ’ Versatile 1 Inch Wide Nylon Webbing Strap – Perfect for DIY Crafts, Backpack Strapping, Sewing, and Outdoor Gear Repair (Black)

Polyester. NYLON POLY: This webbing is imitation nylon which is made of 100% high-quality polyester, but the appearance and hand feeling is similar to nylon webbing. It's soft, smooth, and super strong, which has better price and will not stretch under a load like nylon, even when wet. It is considered semi-water resistant, will not color-bleed, resists fading, and is an excellent material for outdoor use. STRENGTH, DURABILITY, VERSATILITY: Combine with metal or plastic hardware and your own sewing capabilities to create custom straps. It is popular for pet items like collars & leashes, as well as for heavy duty strapping applications such as cargo tie-downs. HIGH DENSITY & SMOOTH FEEL: Our Nylon Poly tends to look richer and brighter than other types of webbing, and has a nice sheen. It also feels softer against the skin. When looks matter, choose this. TENSILE STRENGTH (break strength) is 3000 lbs for the 1" webbing, with a thickness of approximately 0.07 inch. For webbing with better water resistance, please see QIANF Heavyweight Polypropylene.

Thickness not as described

Product description says .07 inch thick but this material is twice as thick and extremely smooth so not suitable for friction buckles.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Small parts

It's Not Braid It's Edge Fastening

It's Not Braid It's Edge Fastening. This is not high quality webbing like you would find on a quality backpack. It is very thin and has no lock weave to avoid unraveling.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Update Available

Super thin like a thick band

Incredibly thin. Got it because the description says it's great for dog collars and leashes. But it is thin as a ribbon and looks thin. But I have to see how good it is. It's exceptionally thin.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Durable

Incorrect Description

This product works well for decorative purposes but is NOT designed for heavy duty use and does not come close to 0.07in. by thickness. Was bought for the manufacture of seat belts and is therefore being returned.

Pros
  • NYLON POLY: This webbing is a synthetic nylon that is 100% high quality polyester, but has the look and feel of nylon webbing on the hand. It's soft, smooth and very strong, has the best price and doesn't stretch under load like nylon, even when wet. It is considered semi waterproof, does not fade, fade resistant and is an excellent material for outdoor use
Cons
  • unreliable

More like a ribbon than a harness.

I ordered this for the handles on my bags but sent it back as it looked more like ribbon than webbing. It was very soft, silky and thin. I can't say anything about the durability because I only felt it.

Pros
  • HIGH DENSITY AND SMOOTH ADHESION: Our nylon poly looks richer and brighter than other types of webbing and has a beautiful sheen. It also feels softer on the skin. If looks are important choose this
Cons
  • So far so good

Works quite well

I've used nylon straps all my life. It's always been tough. This net was like working with thick silk. I expected to have trouble sewing, but I was completely wrong. Lightly sewn. Use it to make a hiking bag for a friend. Using this strap gives your bag a professional look.

Pros
  • polyester
Cons
  • old
