I've been looking for the perfect paring knife and while it's great and could be your perfect knife it's still not mine. While I can't tell you exactly what isn't working for me, it just doesn't have the "feel" I'm looking for. It doesn't mean it's not used and it works fine, but I'm still looking.

This knife has become the new favorite for small cutting jobs here - which seems to be a big part of what we do! A few onions or peppers for frying, a few tomatoes for a salad, etc. Very comfortable and secure in hand (the top is flattened), light enough but strong. Definitely not in the dishwasher! Good knives need to be hand washed, which is quick and easy for this small tool.

This is the standard size paring knife. It's lightweight without leaving an empty feeling in your hand. It's really sharp and comes in a thin, heat-resistant case with a protective plastic cap. The protectors are not intended for storage, so they stay in the drawer without a case. So far it's stayed pretty sharp. Very cool that it is a one piece handle and blade. Nice little paring knife. German steel, well balanced and sharp. Fits comfortably in the hand thanks to the ergonomic handle. I've been a chef for over ten years and this is the best you can get in this price range.**** PLEASE DO NOT put your knives in the dishwasher or leave them in standing water.
