Sharp cone point (SR 0.1mm), 30° Included Angle. Thickness of measured sample : > 6mm (no more than 3 layers). Measuring Range / Graduation : 0~100 HD. Indentor Running : 0-2.5mm. Indentor press on telos : A, C type 0.55-8.06N, D type 0-44.5N.

Easy-to-use Durometer for Accurate Hardness Testing

The Portable 0-100HD Durometer is incredibly handy, and precise for measuring surface hardness .It`s great for industrial and scientific applications requiring a quick and reliable reading. The device is lightweight and compact making it easy to carry around and use on the go. However, it WOULD be nice if the display was backlit for low-light situations. Overall, a great addition to any Measure & Inspect tool kit!

Choose the right tip

These testers are available with different tips depending on the hardness of the materials being tested. This was the first one I ordered but it turned out the tip was for harder materials than the tire rubber I was trying to test. My fault, not the tester's.
