Picture quality is good and this screen is larger than my laptop screen. I have to be honest with my rating. It took three attempts to get a working monitor. The first had no backlight. (Although the second unit may have been returned as the cables weren't neatly tucked away and the MENU button was broken.) The third works fine. This is a very good portable, light and thin monitor. It easily fits in a backpack. All you need is this monitor and one or two included cables to connect to your MacBook or Windows PC. I can think of multiple uses for this monitor at home or while traveling. Look at the pictures I uploaded, the box comes with a monitor, an instruction manual and three cables: mini HDMI to HDMI cable, USB Type-C (aka USB-C) to USB Type-A and USB-C to USB -C . Follow the instructions in every way (manually and through product descriptions and Revain videos) but when it's fully on (blue light indicator) the screen stayed blank. My settings on my laptop even showed the mouse moving to the portable screen, but there was no backlight. The color, clarity and brightness of this portable monitor is comparable to a desktop IPS monitor. So if you type a lot it's easy on your eyes, the viewing angle is as described. Out of curiosity, I tried the built-in speakers and they were good enough, but I generally prefer to use my laptop's speakers. Game console if you traveled.

This is probably better suited to newer laptops and Chromebooks that have universal USB-C ports, but it can be used in many different ways. I just tried it on my small (new) Chromebook and it worked great with just a USB C cable connected. I used a completely independent display on it than on the Chromebook. I have several of these types of screens and have all used the same power supply, which is what is advertised. This one has a working LCD and displays a very dim output image, but the backlight doesn't turn on at all. I really wanted to use this for an IoT dashboard like the one I have tethered to my workstation but in a different location but it just doesn't work. I got the same results with multiple USB-C power adapters with different amperages.

I use a few days, I want to share my thoughts. It fits perfectly in the laptop slot in my backpack which I use to take my small form factor laptop with me when I travel. Being able to provide power and video to the monitor with a single Type-C cable is much better than having to carry around a separate video cable and power cord as the Type-C cable can be used as a phone charger. The only downside to this excellent, reasonably priced product is the lack of clear, detailed instructions for use with laptops and microcomputers such as the Raspberry Pi or Jetson Nano and other products. I love it! Light and quite bright. The menu is very simple. As is the built-in speaker, certainly not a hi-fi speaker. I also love that it comes with three cables that cover all my needs (although most of the time I only need a USB Type-C cable).

I use it with my Lenovo Flexpad when I'm traveling for work and need parallel monitor capabilities to run my business. I was able to use this quite successfully for video editing while my production team was away. It connects easily and is recognized by my computer with no problems. Light and unobtrusive - a good price. Highly recommended.

Good display with a clear picture. However, the bottom on the side is of very poor quality and is very difficult to press down. I ordered two, both had a problem with the bottom return, one doesn't return from the bottom side, the other doesn't return from the top side. Check out the video. The power supply was not included either.

I have used it as a second monitor with my laptop at work and have no complaints, it works as advertised. It's so great to have a second monitor that's nice and light and fits easily in your laptop bag. It's basically a laptop screen without the rest of the laptop, a brilliant solution.

I can connect a monitor to my macbook and switch game controllers, they work great, but personally I don't really like the design of the right menu button because it's awkward to use in portrait mode :(

I've been considering buying this monitor as a second monitor for business trips with my laptop for a while and have been looking for it. It's inexpensive and very light, and the image quality is good enough for gaming and computing.
