We have a 91 year old house with original windows and airflow in more places than walls. We also have three cats. It's dusty here. This device moves a ton of air, and fast. The controls are easy to use. Multiple filter layers mean what comes out at the top is clean, clean, clean. Not sure if the UV is doing anything because at higher speeds the air isn't there long enough to really be affected by the UV light. But the filtering is top notch. From personal experience I was convinced that an air purifier in this class made a noticeable difference. I've used it in a 100 square foot room so far and it cleared the air quickly, then settled and felt clean. It was easy to set up in less than 15 minutes, and the controls are easy to master, which I probably won't change often. I can only describe how the air got softer which I think means my allergies have pretty much subsided. It also removes kitchen and other odors that get into my room.
