With a pair of 1" garden hose adapters this is the perfect water butt pump. I put a stocking on a short hose leading to the barrels and secured it with a clamp. No further settings are required. It's fairly quiet with good pressure - not too little and not too much. Would definitely buy it again.

This pump has been running 3 hours a day for two months now with no problems. I use it to pressurize my fountain pump to run four impact sprinklers through 400 feet of 3/4 inch garden hoses. Without this booster pump, my fountain can hardly supply two impact sprinklers at this distance. Very satisfied with the performance and especially the cheap price as I have already paid my money back. If it doesn't work out today, I'll order more.

The pump is very quiet and very powerful. I use it for my rain collection system which holds 575 gallons. I connect the pump directly to the water butt system and then to my garden sprinkler and get the perfect house pressure.
