Reliable as always with power and hand tools

New blade arrived and has met my expectations. Now I just wish there was a way for me to get the woodwork to sit flat. Wobbles slightly on flat surfaces. This will result in an inaccurate cut.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Wrinkled

I like the blade but not the price.

If you have a Porter Cable Biscuit Joiner, you need this blade, especially if you are working on relatively small (as well as large) items. No doubt it works fine. Serves its purpose but seems overpriced.

I bought this saw blade with a flat and plate joint PC 557 enjoy it over dowels. This blade is used for front framed (FF) cookies, of which I made about 10 cuts. So far, and although the blade was new, it wasn't particularly sharp and seemed to have some issues cutting pine. Add to that the fact that this blade is 25% of the cost of the machine and I'm not keen on it but I made this for a project. Using a 4 inch saw blade is no problem. So next time I need to sharpen a table saw blade I'll try…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

  • Good but not great
