Can't beat the price.

I bought this for my 2014 Ford Escape as the previous owners were heavy smokers and this is a step towards getting rid of it and it has made the air smell so much better and it never hurts her exchange for better airflow and allergens as well.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • functionality

Excellent product.: Cabin Air Filter

This filter came in a bubble wrap box, the filter came in a plastic box with instructions on the pictures and everything is in great condition, also comes with a clear plastic window. a thing for writing down the date and mileage when changing the filter, like a dealer changing the oil.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not the best

fit well a bit flimsy

Overall I like the filters I've bought from this brand. This one is weaker than OEM. This can be good as it is in a very narrow spot and needs to be worked around to get back. Also the installation instructions in my 2017 Escape were good, but my cap also needs a torx wrench to remove a screw. Directions didn't mention it.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Useless features

DIY in spare parts

I change the air filter myself once a year. The vendor is a complete rip off and the process is relatively easy but requires a screwdriver and a bit of contortion to get to the place. Watch a YouTube video to see exactly how it's done. Perfect fit for my car. I really like that Revain lets me enter info about my car to make sure it matches.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Big and clumsy

Good quality cabin filter

So ignore the stupid name. That's a good cabin filter. Well made, has the same foam as the OEM filter and pretty good instructions. For the 2013 C-Max you will also need a T15 Torx FYI. Ford didn't do anyone any favors with the placement. You have to stretch a little to get it there. Don't pay too much for cabin filters. It's a solid value and they're built just as well as the OEM.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • There are flaws

Terrible cabin filter design.

Ford did it again, I had a 2014 Ford Focus and now I have a 2015 Escape and the cabin air filter is in just the right place. Inside the front fairing, which is only accessible from the passenger footwell. You'll need a T25 or 27 Torx bit, the ability to lie on your stomach halfway from the car, and patience. The stealership charged $45 for the job, but for a $10 filter, I'd rather do it myself. There are at least 2 latches that hold the lid under the passenger's glove box and then lie toward…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
