heavy bags. suitable for kitchen and dining room

good heavy bags. The only thing I didn't like was that after tying the bag you had to make a slit in the bag to let the air out. If I were to do it again I would try not to twist the bag as tightly and let the air out at the top.

Pros
  • noble design
Cons
  • sad equipment

Great bags! the best container sets

This year we raised several big birds and these bags were quickly packed. The finished product was clean and tidy - the bags shrunk perfectly around freshly slaughtered birds when placed in hot water.

Pros
  • understandable also for the old
Cons
  • functionality

Has worked as it should.

We used our first bag on a HUGE chicken yesterday (I've seen smaller turkeys in the supermarket). It fit well in the pocket, squeezed as it should. I had to plan better how to get him out of the hot water, but not only that. That was great. Now I hope the package is strong enough to withstand in the freezer. Supposed to see.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Something different

Water doesn't boil

We've butchered chicken and love the pouches. Fit perfectly, the pockets are very spacious. Our chickens averaged about 6 pounds and there was plenty of room in the bags. The ones we ordered are large enough to use for a turkey that weighs about 12 pounds.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

But works fine. - Kitchen and Dining

They work well but the straw they contain is absorbent and make sure your birds are dry before using them and don't use them on a wet day , they just don't shrink because they shouldn't shrink. HOWEVER, as they say, when it was good, with no rain or moisture, they worked amazingly. Make sure the water is hot. 190 degrees worked best for me. And I will be using them again now that the learning curve is over. There are no nice and thick holes, and they bang around hardened and still not split.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • No Mold Required

Great bags! in storage and organization

Loved these bags. They say 10-15 pounds but we had small chicks this year and they still leaned in well and did great. We mostly had 7-8 pound chickens and there were no problems with the bags. We had a couple of 5 pound chickens and they didn't handle those bags very well, but that's not the bag's fault. Just make sure you use this size at 7lbs and up! Oh! Make sure the hole you make is about 1/4 inch because if it's smaller it won't let out enough air to shrink it.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Great Product - Food Storage

First time using this brand, very happy with the result. Last year we used bags that required you to leave the straw inside while soaking, which was a hassle. It's much easier to just poke a small hole in a sealed bag and then cover it with a freezer label after you get wet. The pockets are very large and can easily accommodate even the largest Frankenbirds we've raised, I'm talking chickens over 8 pounds. The bags are sealed tightly and the bird is placed in a freezer. Great product, will…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...
