This basket works really well for what I want to do with it-go grocery shopping and run errands on my bike. It's very sturdy and well-made. I would have given it 5 stars, but the part that is supposed to hook on my handlebars is too thin for my handlebars (I have a Giant bike) and the little velcro part also doesn't fit around the stem on the handlebars (or whatever it's called). But the basket works fine anyway!

The white basket looks really good on my light blue bike (priorities!). I did have one thing fall out while riding, but it was small and I should have put it at the bottom of the basket where the mesh is smaller (a very handy feature). I had no trouble lifting the basket off its holder--slightly more trouble positioning it right to put it back on, but I got the hang of it. I really liked my basket, it matched my cruiser. BUT: it would bounce off if nothing was in it. I resolved this problem by putting an alligator paper clip over th handle so it couldn't raise up. The Velcro strip came undone right away and I sewed it back. But now the plastic on the plastic on the Velcro has broken and can't be repaired. It isn't really strong enough to hold up when basket is used for groceries and such, say 10 lbs. I wish it attached with a stronger strap. It is worthless now…

This bike basket is the nifty-est thing I've seen in a while! Well-designed, super-easy to install/remove, cute and functional! A reviewer mentioned that if the handles manage to pop up while riding over bumps, the basket could come loose, so I made sure that wouldn't happen by using equally-nifty Quirky Bandits (think rubber bands w/hooks) that can be removed easily when I park the bike [see picture]. It actually takes me a little longer to remove the Bandits than to remove the basket itself…

Great bike basket, the highest quality one. This bike baskets doesn’t fade, split and it’s perfect and easy to use. Use it when you ride to a farmers market, unlatch it and take it with you for your items. Then reattach and bike right back home. Beautiful, very California feel.

I've been looking for a good-looking, strong basket for my new bicycle and when my black Colorbasket arrived I wasn't disappointed. The bracket was easy to attach and I love that the basket can be removed for shopping, storing, whatever. Unfortunately, my bicycle was stolen last weekend along with the bracket. I love the color as it fits my new bike perfectly! I did have a issue with it not being totally secure so I ended up purchasing the bandits as someone previously suggested. I would definitely purchase another one if I had need.

I like it because its easy to install, however the way it is designed, when i would go over a bump, either everything in the basket would bounce out or if the bump was big enough the whole basket popped off. I broke my phone because of this and now the basket doesn't sit right. Its a great idea and very convenient to be able to lift the basket on and off with ease, but sometimes too easy and comes off when you dont want it to :(

Okay, if you're not mechanically inclined like me, and installing anything with screws makes your brain shutdown, this is the product for you. You literally just pop it onto your bike and you're good to go. Very little rattling, seems super sturdy, and I love the finer mesh. I don't have to worry about anything falling out. I haven't noticed any scratching either, I appreciate the rubber coating where it hangs on your bike.

Easy to install. A bit larger than expected but will fit a lot. Took the advice of others and zip tied the handles down as my daughter will not be taking it on and off anyway.

I love how this basket comes on and off of the mount for easy on-off. The attachment frame easily fit my cruiser style bike.One star is deducted because this thing is HEAVY. I mean very heavy. Empty and this thing makes me have to balance a little more than usual. I can only imagine what it will feel like once its full.

I took a chance on this way cute white basket for my pink Cruiser bicycle, in spite of other reviews that said the handles would unlock on bumps to let the basket fly off AND that the Velcro strips that hold the mounting bracket would tear out. Do not ignore these reviews, people! The basket handles do NOT stay locked in place. My basket didn't come completely off, but I did zip tie the handles down (meaning that the basket is no longer removable) to make sure it didn't. AND, like reviews said,

My 10 year old daughter wanted a basket for her bike. We really like the color of this basket and we like the fact that you can remove it and have the handles to carry items away from the bike (like a picnic) but I would caution buyers to pay attention to the dimensions and note that it is a little large for a child's bike. I still give it 4 stars though because it is durable and we like the handles!

The basket is easy to install. It fits well on the bike I have. The basket is a great size and seems like it will last a while. Obviously going to have to keep dry as it is metal. As I was installing, however, the plastic clip that hold the velcro strap broke right away. I looped it through one of the loops instead and just placed it on this way. I haven't had to adjust the velcro strap since.

need clips to secure the handles, today it flew right off when i hit a bump and out flew my wallet. very easy installation and lightweight. overall i like it a lot, just better clip those handles down so it doesn't pop off while riding.
