I took a chance on this way cute white basket for my pink Cruiser bicycle, in spite of other reviews that said the handles would unlock on bumps to let the basket fly off AND that the Velcro strips that hold the mounting bracket would tear out. Do not ignore these reviews, people! The basket handles do NOT stay locked in place. My basket didn't come completely off, but I did zip tie the handles down (meaning that the basket is no longer removable) to make sure it didn't. AND, like reviews said, my Velcro straps also ripped all the way through. Naturally, the Velcro straps lasted until 2 days after the return window closed. So I'm stuck with this basket, that is zip-tied to my bike both by the basket handles and now by the basket bracket, too. At least, it's cute. That's the only reason I didn't give it ONE star.
