Also ideal for use at sea

I have a small 25hp Yamaha tiller motor and the original cable started to snap. I installed them and heat shrinked them for a custom battery wire harness. that saved me $90.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Not exactly 0 AWG! to inverters

I needed to shorten the wires so I ordered 0 AWG terminals. When I cut the cable I noticed a discrepancy between the size of the connector and the size of the wire. I only had to use 4 AWG terminals to connect the wire. We strongly recommend not buying these if you really need 0AWG wiring.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • So-so

Good set of inverter cables for my use.

I was originally looking for an 8ft cable for my inverter but came across this one and decided to give it a try. been satisfied so far. It feels well constructed and looks like it will hold up pretty well. I've been using it every day for 3-4 hours straight since I bought it and haven't encountered any problems.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Damaged

Great suggestion: Inverter

I'm an auto mechanic and I work with battery cables all the time, these cables are really 4 gauge, don't let the insulation fool you, the insulation is really thick like audio equipment cables But overall the cable is very flexible , and it seems like a great deal at over $40. I use them to easily transfer 50-100 amps from my alternator to my battery pack. I haven't checked the voltage drop on the wires, but they don't even get hot.

good, but with one major flaw

IT'S OK IF you solder the ends of the cable to the connectors. As others have said, the vibration of these wires in the engine bay wears out the ends of the cheap clips. The strands are very light to make them flexible but they didn't set the right connector for them. Half of them broke before I even looked. So the solution is to get a portable butane torch and some electronic solder. Fire directly at the crimp (not the wires as you'll burn them and ruin the wire!) for about 15 seconds, then…

  • elegant design

  • unreliable

Good wire for the price, poor quality lug crimp

I had a similar experience with another reviewer where many of the thin copper wires that make up this wire broke when shrinking because the lug is crimped flat leaves a thin layer of copper wires that bend back and forth until they begin to break. So I wouldn't recommend this cable unless you're installing it somewhere where it won't flex/vibrate. If you plan on cutting it into segments and soldering those segments to tabs or contact pins, it works great. I was also able to cut the shrink…

DO NOT buy if you plan to use it without modification

As stated in another review, the connectors are poorly connected and SHOULD NOT be used without modification. Not all products made in China are junk and the quality of the wires and terminals used here are of good quality; However, the ends of the terminals are crimped with the wrong crimping tool and can be removed immediately with very little effort. The risk here is HIGH. If the terminal end breaks off, it will most likely arc and cause a fire. Even if the end of the terminal is not…

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Almost OK
