I had a similar experience with another reviewer where many of the thin copper wires that make up this wire broke when shrinking because the lug is crimped flat leaves a thin layer of copper wires that bend back and forth until they begin to break. So I wouldn't recommend this cable unless you're installing it somewhere where it won't flex/vibrate. If you plan on cutting it into segments and soldering those segments to tabs or contact pins, it works great. I was also able to cut the shrink tubing and add solder to one of the existing holes to reinforce it enough that I didn't think it would break more wires, but heating it with a torch ruined the insulation around it. With so many small copper wires, this very thick wire is surprisingly flexible, which can be a good or bad thing depending on the application.
