Excellent starter for the money. about half the money I would pay at an auto parts store. spins fast and starts my truck very easily. will recommend it to everyone.

Great value. Very fast delivery. Too bad the core is scrapped - it would be more environmentally friendly to send a failed motor back for recycling/repair. But as a replacement for my Ford diesel super duty - a no brainer. Buy it.

The starter hardly works. Almost every time we try to start the car it just howls. You have to turn it off, wait 15 seconds and try again. Because of this, it wears out quickly. We've been looking for a new one, but haven't had one for a month. A complete waste of money.

Installed on my 1999 F250 7.3 PSD. The exchange took about 30 minutes and what's the difference. Starts up very quickly. This is a very well built starter that is worth the money. Our local auto parts store had a repair that cost more than double. I'm glad I made this purchase.

Great start for the money. It fits my 2001 Ford F-250 7.3, the only thing my old one had was a 2 bolt mount, just wanted to point out it didn't make installation difficult. And that starter was also about a quarter bigger, so it probably made more torque as well. The price does not bite compared to auto parts stores!

I rarely give 5 stars. My 99 F350 never flipped quickly on take off. I just thought they were so (7,3) where. The rat then gnawed at the starter solenoid wires and shorted them out, causing it to start. The truck was driving with the parking brake on. It flashed the starter. I ordered this from Parts Player, installed it and what a difference! I thought it was a completely different truck, it rolled over so quickly. I don't know how long this starter will last. But only for $80.
